T1.1 TENDER NOTICE and INVITATION TO TENDER

Tender Title: TENDER NO.MDC/ELEC/T22/2026 - 27: A two (2) years framework contract for Supply and Delivery of All-In-One Solar LED Streetlights Materials to Mahalapye District Council

Sealed Tender offers are invited from local Manufacturers of Solar LED Streetlights for Supply and Delivery of All-In-One Solar LED Streetlights Materials to Mahalapye District Council

The Procuring Entity is: Mahalapye District Council- Civil and Mechanical Engineering Services (Electrical Division)

Procurement Method is: Open Domestic Bidding

Companies who are manufacturers of Solar LED Streetlights, in order to be considered for the award of the contract, should be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories:

Code: 213 - General Manufactures/Producers
Sub code(s): 04 - Industrial products

The tender is reserved for citizens or citizen contractors as stated under Section 76(2) of the Public Procurement Act.

Preference margins will be applied to qualifying bidders in line with the prescribed Preference Scheme: Presidential directive CAB 19(B)/2013 on the price preference, Presidential directive CAB 14(B)/2015 on the price preference, Local Procurement Scheme shall apply.

Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) shall apply

Tender documents shall be collected during working hours between 07:30 - 12:45 and 13:45 to 16:30hrs from Monday to Friday effective 10th August 2026. The physical address for collection of Tender document is Electrical Division Office No 111, Mahalapye Rural Administration Center (RAC)

A non-refundable deposit of P150.00 (One hundred -Fifty pula) payable by cash made out in favour of Mahalapye District Council is required on collection of tender document. Youth companies shall pay P75.00 (seventy-five pula) as per Presidential Directive CAB 14(B) upon presentation of CIPA extracts or Omang for beneficiary owners. Payments should be made to Mahalapye District Council revenue office, from 0800hours to 1245hours and 1345hours to 1530hours during working days, excluding public holidays.

Queries or clarifications relating to the issuance of these documents shall be addressed in writing not later than 5 working days before the tender closing date to Council Secretary, Mahalapye District Council, Private Bag 002, Mahalapye. Attention: Principal Electrical Engineer I. Tel No. 471-8642 Fax No. 471-3205.

The closing date and time for receipt of sealed tender offers is 0900 hours on the 24th August 2026 and shall be opened immediately after closing on the same day in the shelter located in front of Court room.

Late tender offers will not be accepted.
