Role Purpose:
Sealed Tender offers are invited for the procurement of Streetlights Materials for Lobatse Town Council.

Key Duties/Responsibilities (Eligibility for Registration):

Tenderers must be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories:
- Code: 203 (Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical Supplies) sub code 01 (Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Spares and Accessories), OR
- sub code 03 (Mechanical Equipment, Machines, Spares and Accessories), OR
- Code: 211 – (General Supplies) Sub Code 19 (Hardware, Tools and Construction Materials)

Qualifications/Requirements:

Procurement Method: OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING – (RESERVED FOR COMPANIES DOMICILED WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE TOWN OF LOBATSE).
The tender is reserved for citizens or citizen contractors as stated under Section 76 (2) of the Public Procurement Act.
Preference shall be given to Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) registered companies in accordance with the turn over threshold preference margin and targeted groups (youth, women and People with disability) in accordance with Local Procurement Policy Preference margin where applicable. The bidder shall submit a copy of valid certificate of registration under the programme.
Bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of P150.00 (one hundred and fifty pula), and P75.00 (Seventy-five pula) for 100% owned youth companies as per Presidential Directive CAB 14(B) 2015 payable to Lobatse Town Council.
Proof of eligibility (for youth companies), issued and certified by the Ministry of Youth and Gender Affairs, and certified copies of Omang will be required at point of sale for payments.
Submit one (1) original tender document marked “ORIGINAL” and two (2) duplicate copies in one sealed envelope marked: Tender No LTC/CMES/ELEC/05/2026 A FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPPLY AND DELIVERY OF STREETLIGHTS MATERIALS FOR LOBATSE TOWN COUNCIL.
The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Standardised Conditions of Tender for Supplies shall apply to this procurement.
The LOBATSE TOWN COUNCIL is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
